     I think that this is a lovely website with such pretty music.  I was glad that I was told about it.  My father  was president of St. Michael's until his death in 1968.  We live in the parish home which was then located on  Walnut Street at the other end of Independence Park.  Father Lisenkovsky lived on the 2nd floor and we lived on the 3rd floor.  Over the years when the parish had two priests they lived on the 1st floor.  I remember Father John, Father Andrew and Father Michael. If I am not mistaken the two purple banners by the front pews were donated by my mother's family in honor of my Grandmother  Kurus.  It was also nice to see my Mom/Dad in the picture in front of the capital. Who ever maintains this website is doing a wonderful job.  I so enjoyed visiting.  Thank you.

You will be receiving this letter after Clean Monday, marking the start of Great Lent.  Now that we are, indeed, fortunate to have a priest we celebrate Divine Liturgy every Sunday.  We remind you that he is the Russian-speaking priest so many have requested!

On the Great and Holy Friday, April 25, Fr. Andrey will be celebrating a Vesper Service at 3PM at Saint Michael's. Good Friday is the most solemn day of the Orthodox Church calendar. On this day Our Lord suffered on the cross for us. Tradition tells us that He died at 3 PM, and we should all attend this beautiful service to commemorate His great sacrifice for us. 

On Sunday, April 27th, Pascha celebration will start at St. Michael's with a Resurrection Service at 8 AM followed by Divine Liturgy at 9 AM.  Immediately after Service, Fr. Andrey will bless Easter Baskets. 

These two services will provide all of our parishioners with a chance to invigorate our parish life.  Please take these opportunities to join us at these beautiful services and demonstrate your love and devotion to God.

Вы будете получать это письмо после Чистый в понедельник, отмечая начало Больших Предоставленный. Теперь, когда мы, действительно, удачны иметь священника, мы празднуем Божественную Литургию каждое воскресенье. Мы напоминаем Вам, что он является Русскоязычным священником, которого так многие просили!

На Великом и Святой пятница, 25 апреля, франке. Андрей будет праздновать Обслуживание Вечерней звезды в 3PM в Святом Майкле. Великая пятница - самый торжественный день Ортодоксального Церковного календаря. В этот день Наш Бог пострадал на кресте для нас. Традиция говорит нам, что Он умер в 3 Премьер-министрах, и мы должны все посетить это красивое обслуживание, чтобы ознаменовать Его большую жертву для нас.

В воскресенье, 27-ого апреля, празднование Pascha начнется в С-. Майкл с Обслуживанием Восстановления в 8:00, сопровождаемым Божественной Литургией в 9:00. Немедленно после Обслуживания, франка. Андрей благословит Пасхальные Корзины.

Эти две услуги предоставят всем нашим прихожанам с шансом подбодрить нашу жизнь округа. Пожалуйста воспользуйтесь этой возможностью, чтобы присоединиться к нам в этих красивых услугах и демонстрировать вашу любовь и преданность Богу.
